WHY IS A CONTRACT BETTER THAN AN INVESTMENT?

WHY IS A CONTRACT BETTER THAN AN INVESTMENT?

Those of you who are currently “invested” in the market are probably wondering when your “investment” is going to pay off. If you cashed in last November and took the profits gained between January, 2009 and November, 2015, congratulations! Even if all you did was get back to where you were before the crash in 2008. However, if you did not cash in, what you experienced were “paper gains” and now you are experiencing “paper losses” again.

“Investing” in the market right now is like drowning instead of swimming. And swimming would be like having money in banks, where you are more or less swimming in place. You are safe, of course, but you can’t make anything. There is no forward progress. Indeed, savers today are almost as under-served as “investors”. Either way, there is risk. With the market, you constantly have the risk of loss. And then how long will it be before you get back to where you were? With banks and money market funds, your risk is the “cost” of liquidity. In short, by earning virtually nothing, you are actually losing money when you factor in inflation.

Perhaps what is needed is a legal CONTRACT that guarantees safety from market risk and also provides a guaranteed growth rate for income, as well as a guaranteed income for life. Imagine that - safety, security and guaranteed growth! Instead of drowning or swimming in place, you would be in a motor boat moving ever forward. You would have an annuity contract which guarantees that, in exchange for a deposit, you would always have certain growth and then income from your original deposit. No other investment or savings strategy can do what an annuity CONTRACT can guarantee.
